Service Description

“TWO CYLINDERS IS BETTER THAN ONE!”. Discovered the joy of having cylinders on your side and not on your back. Sidemount diving gives you flexibility and streamlining options. Plus, you don’t have to walk with heavy cylinders on your back – just enter the water, clip them on and go. Also having double the gas in two cylinders means you have extra safety and can help overcome problems underwater. Discover the balance and efficiency of Sidemount scuba diving with your PADI dive instructor. Many divers find sidemount tanks are more comfortable and easier to put on in the water. Sidemount diving is also beneficial for divers who want improved balance and prolonged dives. First, you'll make a confined water dive to become familiar with Sidemount diving equipment. We will also teach you sidemount diving skills including: frog kicking, attaching and removing scuba tanks as you enter and exit the water, unclipping a scuba tank and swimming with the tank in front of you, and how to switch second stages and manage your breathing gas when wearing two scuba tanks. When you’re comfortable with these skills, you’ll make three open water dives where you’ll practice your new skills, buoyancy control and problem solving. Minimum age: 15 Prerequisites: PADI Open Water Diver Duration: 2-3 Days (3rd Day is extra) Dives: 4 Min Equipment: Extra cost for equipment rental please ask. Our hotel collections typically start around 9:15 am, but this may vary slightly depending on your location. From there, we will drive to the diving site and begin our diving excursions. After completing the dives, we will return to the starting point and transport you back to your hotel around 14:30pm. Please note that the return time may vary depending on the location.
