Mexican Cenote caves offer amazing dives

Here at GO Diving, we understand that not everyone is part of a major dive club that embarks on world-traveling dive adventures. We also recognize that some of you may not have a group of diving friends to explore the world's underwater gems with. That's why we had a brilliant idea: let's take GO DIVING on tour! We're bringing the same fun, small-group, and intimate diving experiences that you've come to know and love from us, either through our social media or our website, and we're hitting the road.

In 2024, specifically from the 1st to the 15th of September, we're heading to the captivating dive paradise of Mexico. You're invited to join us for a week or even two, as we uncover all that Mexico has to offer beneath its crystal-clear waters.

GIANNI EXPLORED THE DIVES SITES, DELVED INTO THE UNDERWATER WONDERS, AND ESTABLISHED THE CONTACT NECESSARY FOR US TO OFFER YOU THE BEST.

But before we delve into the details, let's hear from Gianni about his "fact-finding mission" to Mexico last year. Gianni explored the dive sites, delved into the underwater wonders, and established the contacts necessary for us to offer you the best and most unforgettable trip. So, Gianni,

take it away and tell us all about it!…

Dive into Adventure: Discover the Wonders of Mexico

Hi Everyone Im Gianni co owner and co chief instructor at GO DIVING in Gran Canaria, Last summer I embarked on an unforgettable diving adventure in Mexico, exploring the breathtaking Cenotes and enjoying sea dives in the company of local dive experts. From the moment they picked us up in their rugged 4x4 jeeps, I knew this trip was going to be an adventure of a lifetime.

I made the journey to scout out the location for our Mexico Trip in 2024, we knew we wanted to offer our friends and new friends alike an AMAZING dive trip, so I did the err ”hard work” of exploring Mexico first.

Mexico, with its wild and adventurous spirit, is remarkably well-connected by modern travel routes and amenities

My journey began in Gran Canaria, the home of our dive school GO DIVING. From there, I made my way to Madrid to catch the flight to Cancun, the gateway to Mexico's diving wonders. The journey was as straightforward as air travel can get, and most travelers, like me, enjoyed a reliable service.

Mexico, with its wild and adventurous spirit, is remarkably well-connected by modern travel routes and amenities. The flight to Cancun was a breeze, and before I knew it, I was standing on the sun-soaked soil of Mexico, all set for the next exciting leg of my diving journey.

From Cancun, the next stop on my adventure is Playa del Carmen, a vibrant coastal paradise known for its crystal-clear waters and lively atmosphere, making it the perfect setting for diving escapades.

Venturing into the jungle to reach some of the hidden Cenotes added an extra layer of excitement

The transition is seamless, and I'm ready to explore the wonders that await in Playa del Carmen. Every moment is an opportunity for new discoveries and unforgettable memories. It truly feels like you are on a real adventure here, surrounded by the jungle, sand, and the ocean.

So much to see in the Cenotes of Mexico

Venturing into the jungle to reach some of the hidden Cenotes added an extra layer of excitement. The lush, dense foliage, teeming with parrots and monkeys, created a surreal backdrop for our dives. The jungle became our lunchtime sanctuary, and we dined amidst the vibrant colors and sounds of nature.

What makes diving in Mexico so special? For starters, the Cenotes are unparalleled. These natural fresh-water cave systems offer something for divers of all levels, from beginners to expert cave divers. The remarkable visibility, often exceeding 50 meters, is a rarity anywhere else in the world. With warm water that hovers above 25 degrees Celsius, no challenging waves or currents, and pristine, crystal-clear waters, you'll feel like you're in a diver's paradise.

But Mexico is more than just a diver's haven. It's a place where you can savor the delightful flavors of the local cuisine, with tacos, enchiladas, tequila, and more. And between dives, don't forget to explore the ancient Mayan temples and nature parks. Are you daring enough to try the world's hottest pepper or fried grasshoppers? Mexico offers all of this at a reasonable price.

As we prepare for our diving trip in 2024, consider some of the Cenotes we could be exploring: Dreamgate, Carwash, Pit, Dos Ojos, Eden, Tajma Ha, Kukulkan, Angelita, and many more. Each Cenote has its unique charm, and you can start counting down the days until you immerse yourself in their underwater wonders.

!Viva Mexico, gueyyy!

Join us on this adventure and let's create unforgettable memories together, we are your new diving club and diving friends. Mexico awaits, and it's time to say, 'Viva Mexico, gueyyy!' Get ready for weeks of tropical diving, exploration, and endless fun in this remarkable country. See you there!"

Thanks everyone and see you soon
