“STAY DRY AND STAY WARM” Discover the benefits of dry suit diving and learn in the warm waters of Gran Canaria! The PADI Dry Suit Specialty Course and learn how to dive comfortably and safely in any water temperature and environment, without the risk of leaking suits and cold dives. Diving with a dry suit opens up new diving possibilities and challenges, but it also requires specific skills and knowledge. Learning in Gran Canaria, where the water temperature is consistently warm and the diving conditions are ideal, provides the perfect environment to master the skills of dry suit diving without the discomfort of cold water or bulky wetsuits. During the PADI Dry Suit Specialty Course, you will learn how to select, fit, and use a dry suit effectively and safely. You will learn about the different types of dry suits, their features, and their advantages and disadvantages. You will also learn how to manage the air in your dry suit, control your buoyancy, and adjust to the new sensations and movements. The course includes a knowledge development section that you can complete online at your own pace before meeting with your instructor for two open water dives. You will have the opportunity to practice your skills and build your confidence in Gran Canaria's clear and calm waters, under the guidance of experienced and certified instructors. Once you complete the course, you can take your new skills and confidence to colder environments and enjoy new diving opportunities and challenges. The PADI Dry Suit Specialty Course is a valuable course for any diver who wants to expand their diving skills and experiences. It is also a prerequisite for other PADI courses, such as the PADI Ice Diver and the PADI Tec 40 and Tec 45 certifications. Details: Minimum age: Enquire. Prerequisites: PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver (or qualifying entry-level certification). Duration: 2 Days. Dives: 4 Dives. Equipment: There is an extra cost for drysuit rental depending on size etc. Our hotel collections typically start around 9:15 am, but this may vary slightly depending on your location. From there, we will drive to the diving site and begin our diving excursions. After completing the dives, we will return to the starting point and transport you back to your hotel around 14:30pm. Please note that the return time may vary depending on the location.
